I live on the beautiful North West Coast of Tassie and am working on being a good human and creating harmony and balance in a life that can frequently feel like a juggling act, while following what feels right in my heart.

 

I love to laugh, but am also a big crier and do wear my heart on my sleeve. I am striving towards complete authenticity and allowing everyone to see the real me. Also, it’s become apparent (i.e. everyone knew except me) that I’m possibly a perfectionist, which is something I’m navigating, while learning I need to go easier on myself and accept that sometimes we get it wrong, and that that’s ok. Who knew you can’t always get it right and be all the things for all the people and do all the things too??? What a revelation!

 

I could say this has all happened so quickly, and while it has (3 weeks!), if I’m honest, it’s the culmination of years of baking for others, procrastibaking, sharing, creation via whoopsies and a caramel obsession.

 

I’m that friend. The one you invite to visit and always has to bring food, yes, even when you say no, I still will. What can I say, I just don’t like showing up empty handed, it’s always good to have some new taste testers, and one mustn’t travel without snacks, even if just around the corner!

 

The hugest of Thank Yous for your loyalty and well wishes, all your support of my recipes, and of me and this next chapter we embark on together. This is such an exciting and nail biting time, and not one I step forward into lightly, or confidently. Knowing you have my back has been such a huge comfort. Thank you.
